Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has officially opened registrations for the All India National Qualifier Test (NQT), offering Prime, Digital, and Ninja roles for freshers with 0–2 years of experience. 🎯 Eligibility Criteria

  • Highest Qualification: TCS All India NQT Hiring is exclusively open to for the Batch of 2024, 2025 and 2026 - Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)/Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Master of Technology (M.Tech.)/Master of Engineering (M.E)/Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A)/Master of Science (M.Sc./M.S) in any specialization offered by AICTE/UGC recognized universities/colleges.

  • Academic Aggregate: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (all subjects to be included for calculation) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation (if applicable).

    If selected, the offer will be valid only if the degree/provisional degree certificate clearly states that the candidates have cleared Engineering in 'First-Class’ within the stipulated course duration.

  • Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: No pending backlog will be permitted at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process. 

  • Extended Education: No extended education will be allowed. Candidates should have completed the course in the stipulated course duration.

  • Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. Overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification. Relevant documents, as applicable, will be checked for gaps.

  • Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).

  • Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the graduation and post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time. 

  • Work Experience: Candidates with work experience of up to 2 years are eligible to apply

  • Age: Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years.

📝 Application Process – Step-by-Step

Step 1:

Login to the TCS NextStep Portal

Step 2:

Register under IT Category

  • Existing users: Sign in → Enter CT/DT ID → Click “Apply for Drive”
  • New users: Click “Register Now” → Choose “IT” → Fill details → Apply for Drive

Step 3:

Choose the skill/technology you want to be evaluated on

Step 4:

Choose In-Centre Test Mode → Select 3 preferred test cities

Step 5:

Choose 3 preferred job locations

Step 6:

Check your status under Track Application
It must show: “Applied for Drive”
