Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the development team. You may also interact with the Development team in order to understand the requirements of the product.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create tests to identify software problems
- Analyse bugs and errors found during tests
- Document results of tests for the software development team
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
Skills Required:
- Detail knowledge of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end..etc
- Detail Knowledge of Defect Reporting
- Detail Knowledge of Test Design/Test plan and Test cases.
- Knowledge of writing and designing tests
- Strong communication skills that allow them to collaborate with others. They communicate problems and coordinate with QA, development, and Support teams to ensure products are free of errors
- MSSQL/MYSQL Fundamentals
- Added Advantage Mantisbt
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
