Stipend During Internship: First 3 Months Upto Rs. 15,000/- Per Month & Next 3 Months Upto Rs. 30,000/- Per Month

Approx. Package Post Internship: Based on performance during the internship, with a potential CTC of Rs. 6,00,000 PA

Job Description:

Privacera is seeking a technically strong and highly motivated Customer Experience Engineer Intern to join our team. This role is designed for recent graduates who are looking to kickstart their careers in enterprise software and cloud data ecosystems. As part of the Customer Experience Engineering team, you will help develop, maintain, and support custom connectors that integrate Privacera’s platform with various data and cloud systems.

This internship provides real-world engineering exposure with a focus on Java, Python, cloud platforms, and AI-enhanced coding tools like Cursor. You will work closely with experienced engineers, receive mentorship, and contribute to solving impactful customer-facing technical challenges.


Role & Responsibilities:

· Respond to and resolve customer queries efficiently via Slack, support tickets, or videocalls.

· Acknowledge, follow up, and confirm issue resolution before closing support cases.

· Perform technical triage, analyze logs, and offer recommendations or workarounds.

· Write and run basic SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, filters) and understand database structures (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, etc.).

· Support basic deployments and configurations on AWS, Azure, or GCP (compute, storage, networking).

· Deploy or troubleshoot basic applications on Kubernetes and manage namespaces and services.

· Participate in incident resolution, following runbooks and escalation procedures.

· Document Root Cause Analyses (RCA), solutions, and runbooks.

· Collaborate with Engineering/Product/CloudOps on escalations requiring deeper investigation.

· Contribute to internal and customer-facing knowledge base articles (KBAs) and documentation.

· Learn and support Privacera platform diagnostics, upgrades, and user provisioning scenarios.

· Navigate data governance platforms like Unity Catalog or Collibra to assist customers in metadata discovery.

· Contribute to maintaining CI/CD pipelines, writing simple automation scripts (Bash/Python), and managing configurations (Ansible, Terraform).

· Use collaboration tools like JIRA, Slack, and Confluence for communication, ticket tracking, and documentation.

· Understand and demonstrate customer empathy—listen carefully, validate issues, and maintain professionalism at all times.

 

Skills Required:

· Linux/Unix commands and file system.

· Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, routing).

· Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying simple services, Containers and Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services).

· REST APIs and tools like Postman.

· SSO, RBAC/ABAC, and basic identity integrations (LDAP, Okta, AAD).

· SQL for basic queries and schema understanding.

· Familiarity with incident management practices and runbook-based resolutions.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

· Willingness to work flexible hours including PST support shifts and weekend rotations.

 

Nice to Have / Will Learn on the Job:

· Exposure to Big Data platforms like Databricks, EMR, Dremio, Trino, or Hive.

· Familiarity with SSL certs, 2-way SSL, and certificate management.

· Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Splunk, or Prometheus.

· Understanding of SaaS concepts like multi-tenancy, subscription models, etc.

· Familiarity with Ranger policies and access control configurations.

· Ability to write basic scripts for automation using Python or Bash.

· Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps) and IaC tools like Terraform.
