Job Description:
Privacera is seeking a technically strong and highly motivated Customer Experience Engineer Intern to join our team. This role is designed for recent graduates who are looking to kickstart their careers in enterprise software and cloud data ecosystems. As part of the Customer Experience Engineering team, you will help develop, maintain, and support custom connectors that integrate Privacera’s platform with various data and cloud systems.
This internship provides real-world engineering exposure
with a focus on Java, Python, cloud platforms, and AI-enhanced coding tools
like Cursor. You will work closely with experienced engineers, receive
mentorship, and contribute to solving impactful customer-facing technical
challenges.
Role & Responsibility:
- Assist in the design and development of custom connectors for databases, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
- Support debugging and troubleshooting efforts for customer-reported integration issues.
- Write clean, modular, and object-oriented code using Java and Python.
- Use tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot to increase code productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and customer-facing teams to solve real-world problems.
- Maintain clear documentation for the connectors you help build or support
Skills Required:
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to AI-based development tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Vibe is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, with a strong desire to learn and adapt.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
