Job Description
The Instructional Designer will be a member of the Learning Lifecycle Management (LLM) team. As an Instructional Designer, his/her core role will encompass the following key tasks:
· Understand client requirements and propose learning solutions to meet the requirements
· Create course outlines and design documents based on client requirements
· Analyze current state environment, including analysis of performance gaps and job/task/needs analysis.
· Facilitate requirements gathering workshop and conduct interviews to confirm performance needs and translate those needs into concrete options for learning interventions.
· Facilitate design session with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, graphic designers, and media programmers
· Create project documentation including design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, train-the-trainer, pilot materials, and working prototypes.
· Demonstrate expertise in developing a range of instructional materials including classroom-based training, e-learning, job aids, references guides, scenario case studies, on-the-job training, train-the-trainer course material, assessments, and evaluations.
· Demonstrate effective course development and evaluation skills. Should be able to independently develop entry and advanced level technical and non-technical courses for both internal and external clients.
· Review deliverables developed by team members.
· Be responsible for project deliverables.
· Develop, mentor, and coach junior instructional designers.
· Evaluate sales opportunities and create proposals detailing effort and cost estimates.
· Create and manage project plans
· Manage projects from end to end and coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and internal team
· Demonstrate expertise in leading and managing both internal and external clients.
· Handle client communication and reporting.
· Exhibit strong problem-solving and business acumen skills
· Demonstrate advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
· Contribute to team Business As Usualactivities such as hiring, process improvement, service standardization, etc.
