Position: Software Tester

Experience: Freshers

Approx. Package: Upto Rs. 2,20,000/- Per Annum

Job Location: Chennai

Job Type: Full Time

Bond: 03 Years Mandatory

Eligibility Criteria:  

  • Education: BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BCS/ BSc/ ME/ MTech/ MCA/ MCS/ MSc (CS/ IT/ ENTC Branch Only)
  • Batch: Pass out Year 2024/ 2025 Batch Only
  • Percentage: 60% in Graduation/Post Graduation 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Understand software requirements and functional specifications
  • Design and execute test cases as per project requirements
  • Perform manual testing on applications in Cards & Payments domain
  • Identify, report, and track defects using defect tracking tools
  • Carry out functional, regression, and system testing
  • Work with developers to explain issues and verify fixes
  • Prepare test reports and documentation
  • Participate in training & shadow projects during the initial period
  • Follow QA standards and contribute to process improvement
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality software

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of Software Testing fundamentals
  • Understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Manual Testing concepts (Test cases, test scenarios, defect life cycle)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and databases (preferred)
  • Understanding of Black Box Testing techniques
  • Exposure to tools like JIRA / Bugzilla is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Cards & Payments domain will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
