Job Description:
ArkenTech Solutions is looking for a skilled and
passionate WordPress Developer to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and
maintaining WordPress websites while ensuring optimal performance,
security, and responsiveness. This role requires working in the US
Night Shift to collaborate with global teams and clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly websites using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Work extensively with Elementor and other page builders.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure website security through SSL implementation, backups, updates, and malware protection.
- Manage website hosting, domains, DNS, server configurations, migrations, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot website issues and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Implement SEO-friendly website structures and best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver high-quality websites.
- Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS and custom development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with Elementor, theme customization, and plugin development.
- Good understanding of responsive web design.
- Knowledge of website optimization, caching, and performance enhancement.
- Experience managing hosting environments, domains, SSL certificates, backups, and website migrations.
- Understanding of WordPress security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of on-page SEO implementation.
- Experience with Git/version control is an added advantage.
- Experience with WooCommerce customization.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with cPanel, Cloudflare, and hosting platforms.
- Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently during the US Night Shift.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
