Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) to join our DevOps team. The selected candidates will work closely with experienced engineers to learn and support the design, deployment, automation, monitoring, and maintenance of software development and infrastructure environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and system administration.

Role & Responsibilities:

Assist in managing and monitoring cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
Learn and work on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation scripts.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
Collaborate with development and QA teams for application releases.
Assist in maintaining version control repositories and deployment processes.
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Support incident management and root cause analysis activities.
Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.

Skills Required:

Basic understanding of Operating Systems (Linux/Windows).
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Basic knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other automation tools.
Understanding of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and infrastructure best practices.
